When you’re a photographer, you work mostly alone in your living room or studio or whatever. There were many days when I would sit in front of my computer all day, and not say a word to anyone. In that environment, it’s hard to know if you’re on the right track. You’re mostly in your own head all day, and honest feedback is hard to come by. But when PDN comes along and says, “Hey, good job. We believe in you,” it’s a good feeling.
